MiniTruckin’ magazine. My first truck was a ’96
Chevy S-10 that I’d slammed to the ground. The front
was dropped 5 inches from stock and the back 7 inches. The
rear drop was so much that the axle pretty much rested on the bump
It looked amazing to me at the time though. The skateboard
stiff ride was just part of the fun for me; but my girlfriend truly
suffered. My gf at the time had exceptionally large breasts
(high five) that would bounce around as the rear suspension bounced
and crashed over road imperfections.
I’m not going to lie; those bouncing breasts brought me very
real joy; but she complained that they hurt, which meant I had to
keep modifying until she was comfortable.
The cure came in the form of a “C-notch”, a very
nineties truck mod that involved cutting out the bump stop and a
“C” shaped section of the frame. This cut-out was
